I suspect that Microsoft does this "for compatibility" and I wouldn't mess
with it.

On 64 bit windows vista, 2 windows mail applications are available. One
is in "c:\program files\windows mail" (64 bit) and the other one is in
"c:\program files (x86)\windows mail" (32 bit). when the 32 bit windows
mail application is launched it is inturn launching the 64 bit windows
mail application. the task manager is showing winmail.exe and
winmail.exe*32.
Any one could let me know, why the 32 bit app is launching the 64 bit
and what changes needs to be done to run only the 32 bit windows mail
application.
