error after sleeping

my new computer with Vista 64 gives me and error box in windows mail
after its been to sleep
The host 'mail.comcast.net' could not be found. Please verify that you
have entered the server name correctly.

windows mail works fine when computer is awake- but when it sleeps no
new e-mail comes in and when I wake it I see the message on lower right
side of Windows Mail screen -yellow box says error-
if I hit send recieve new mail comes in fine and all is well again- so
it appears this is a sleep related issue- any thoughts?
