No, they do not sound right, do they? Pop3 & smtp? I do not know how
they
got in there in the first place, or perhaps Vista comes like that? All I
want is to know what information to put instead of them so I can get rid
of
these Dam! error messages.
What would happen if I deleted the pop3 & smtp altogether?
I guess I'll have to do a bit more digging and check with MY E-MAIL
provider.
Oh and by the way, I am not on the move with the PC, I am stationery.
Perhaps someone could advise me on how to synchronise windows mail with
windows live mail so that copies of my live e-mail would be left on my
windows mail account?

The settings for Tiscali:login username@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
incoming email (POP3) pop.tiscali.co.uk
outgoing email (SMTP) smtp.tiscali.co.uk
To get mail to both programs go to:
Tools>accounts>select account>advanced tab>enable leave copy of message on
server, set a reasonable number of days to delete from server, or your ISP
mailbox will fill up.
Do the above on both programs.
Your Live mail account Will NOT work in WM, only in WLM.
Get back if you need more help?
