Note that I said "in most cases" below. Your case is different in that
you have the incoming and outgoing mail servers owned by different
providers. That's not wrong, it just makes it a little more complicated.
Go to Tools, Accounts, select that account, Properties, Servers.
Click on that Settings button near the bottom. Select "Log on using",
then enter your iccspain.net login information.
Select "Remember password, then click OK. Try sending.

Gary,.
Thanks for your reply.
My incoming mail is from pop3.lineone.net and outgoing mail is
mail.iccspain.net
"My server requires authentication" box is checked.
How can I get the outgoing mail changed to pop3.lineone.net, same as for
incoming mail?
How do I contact my mail provider if I have to reset my password?
Hope you can help.
Regards,
George Anderson

Apparently your receiving works fine? In most cases, receiving uses the
same username/password as when sending.
The username is revealed here: Tools, Accounts, select that account,
Properties, Servers. Do the incoming and outgoing servers belong
to the same provider? If so, is "My server requires authentication" checked?
If you need the password reset, you will have to call your mail provider.

Since transferring from old laptop with Windows XP to Vista I can receive
e-mails on my lineone address but can't send as a window keeps popping up
asking for User Name and Password. I set this e-mail address up several years
ago and can't remember either the user name or password, as my usual ones are
not accepted. Is there any way to re-set these without knowing the originals?
