The only webmail that Windows Live Mail supports is
Hotmail and its variants (MSN.com, Live.com).
Gmail supports both webmail and POP mail (as well as IMAP),
so it can be used with any email program.
There are a few 'proxy' type programs that convert between
webmail and POP mail. Take a look at YPOPs and FreePOPs.
However, we can't offer support for non-Microsoft solutions.
You will have to ask questions about Thunderbird in a Thunderbird support group.

I understand that win mail doesn't support web base email..
Is there a way around this?
Will Win live support Yahoo, Gmail etc?
Can I install Thunderbird and and use it for web based mail?
Thxs
