Sister in law sends me emails that come as HMTL message; almost all have
an
'attachment' that shows a name/number with ".dat" at the end. Cannot
'open'
to see them; but apparently any 'response' with that info 'isn't getting

to her' as it just 'continues'. Sent separate email to 'hubby' to see if
she
was working on 'new computer, new system, new program' and to let her know

my problem. I first 'check' my emails through my Internet Provider so as

use THEIR 'servers' protection rather than 'expect' mine to 'cover all
bases'; once 'opened' I'm told they are 'dumped' into whatever email
programs
exist. Besides my Web-based Windstream, I have Microsoft Office Outlook
2007
and "IncrediMail"; changed 'default' back to Micosoft Office Outlook; but
still need to 'check all 3 for emails'. No real problem, only time
consuming! Address book/contact list are NOT the same in any of the
3...any
suggestions? Please realize that I am a 'novice' and what I have learned
has
been 'self-taught' or with the suggestions of others. Maybe you have an
easier way.

Hi, for the first part of your question, regarding the attachment on mail,
it is happening because you are set to read all mail in plain text.
Go to the Tools menu>options>Read Tab and uncheck that option>apply/OK

Regarding the rest of your message, I have read it several times, and have
not yet even figured out what you are asking, sorry.
