I want to use gmail with windows mail will my MSGs be saved to my hard
disk.
I have 66.7GB free of 100GB if the MSGs are saved on my hardisk will they
take up alot of room.
If I remember correctly, if you select the POP method of connecting to the
server, the mail will be stored on your hard drive. If you do not also
select
the option of leaving a copy of messages on the server, they will be removed
from the server when you download them. How much space they will use
depends on whether they are text messages (which tend to be small) or HTML
messages (which tend to be larger), whether they have attachments, and how
many messages you keep. I'm currently storing several thousand messages
on my hard drive, mostly text, but I have a larger hard drive, and think
the total
space for all files of my hard drive (not just mail) is about 52 GB.
