Hi--

I'm inclined to agree with Mr. Harper that there may be a hdw problem,
particularly in the light of the power cut but nonetheless I suggest you try
a Startup Repair if you have the dvd or do a search in the MSKBs for the
bootrec tool and use their switches from a cmd prompt outside Windows if you
have the Vista DVD.

Good luck and let us know how you make out,

A question, Chad:

HOW could he do a startup repair if his machine refuses to boot at
all.

"NO POWER, NO STARTUP REPAIR."

Seems like his problem is strictly hardware.

Possible dead CPU, motherboard, or power supply.

Unfortunately, this sometimes happens when power is interrupted during
a sofware install.

Sure reads like it's dead, mookima..

I suggest you replace the battery first, then try to boot.
If it boots, THEN try a Startup repair.

However, I think a reinstall of your OS is called for in this
instance.
