Above is the link for standalone 5 language version of Vista SP1(434.5MB)
Download it, and SAVE it to a folder.
Using burning software: Nero, etc, to make a Data disk from it.
It is not an ISO file, so you do not have to make an image disk.
All you have to do is double-click on it, when you wish to install it, (or
right-click on it>run as Admin, depending on your security).
And, you could use Acronis True Image to make an image of your system(saved
to an external drive, after you have installed SP1 for your particular
recovery purposes..

Hi All,
Finally i got some better forum were i can put my issue and expect some
good reply. hope someone will help me with what i want...
I got *HP Pavilion Notebook*/Laptop *With VISTA HOME ED* 32bit (WITHOUT
SERVICE PACK 1) preinstalled and with A recovery Partition on hard
drive.
I created a recovery disk and lost it.
Now i use the only option left which is recovery partition to install
fresh OS.
Due to my work type its important for me to format my harddisk every 30
days and reinstall the factory settings.
so when i format and reinstall it again i have to download Service pack
, do all updates , do everything which takes time.
is their any way i can create a recovery disk or something like
reimaging only C drive ??? so that i dont have to reinstall updates
again and again ?
i saw in our office tech guys reimage the computer , how that is done ?
MY CHOICE WILL BE :
- *either :* install fresh windows vista ,update with service pack 1
and make a image of it , for future installation
- *or else :* install windows all all basic application which i need,
like my anti visus with update and office and other application and
make a image of is and use it for future installation .
Additional info : i also got vista installation disk which is pirated i
mean whithout license, i dont use it because i already got original
vista home ed from HP in recovery partition , may be this can help me
creating anything.
