I do not use office, its a 60 day trial, when I try to uninstall it I get
this message.
Setup Error
The language of this installation package is not supported by your system.
I contacted Toshiba, they asked me to try like 5 times even though I told
them I had already. Their only help was they gave me a reference number and
phone number for Microsoft. I called them and they say that they don't deal
with trial software that was installed? It's their own program!!. What can
I do?
The trial was preinstalled by Toshiba along with the OS. That's why MS isn't giving you support. It has to come from Toshiba, whether Toshiba likes it or not. Have you installed any language packs since getting the computer? Have you created the recovery dvds for the Toshiba according to Toshiba's instructions?
I would try uninstalling with elevated rights as follows:
Click Start and type "appwiz.cpl" in Start/Search, but do not hit Enter. Right click on the appwiz icon at the top of the menu and select Run As Administrator. Then try uninstalling. Post back.
If all else fails,
