Are you talking about the recovery partition? If it is an internal drive on a laptop it is commonly a 10GB hidden partition that is accessed during start up with a key like F11 and is only used to restore the computer to factory condition. However, laptops are available with dual hard drives now, so please post back with the exact make and model of your computer. You haven't given nearly enough information for anyone to do more than guess at what you are dealing?

but the drive isn't even showing up in computer. it's the D:\ drive i
need. isn't there some sort of expert way to do it like through run or
something?
