VIA RAID 0 not recognized

Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

Strange things are happening here. :) I have plugged 2 of my SATA
drives into my motherboard and windows vista 32 installed a VIA RAID
driver.

Next time i booted i found a RAID utility before vista started. So i
decided to setup a RAID 0 on these 2 drives, in the bios utility. When
vista restarted the RAID is not showing in windows explorer.

Any advice?

Also i have a silicon image RAID card, but nothing is plugged into it.
I tried to hook both the above drives, but one 750gb drive was not
recognized, so i plugged them into the mobo. I also have the bios
silicon images RAID utility show before bootup but i cannot get into
that utility, because it says (as it should) no hard drives recognized.
