Hello,
I recently installed compact generic USB speakers which doesn't have
any
drivers
CD etc.
Initially it installed and started working OK but now I have noticed
that
after every reboot I have to go into Device Manager > Uninstall USB
Compsite
Device & USB Audio Device > Then Scan for hardware changes > it finds
the
drivers and installs. After doing that it starts to work again.
I found found something relating to the INFCACHE file permission in a
different post and have already tried it but has made no difference.
Can anyone advise how I can resolve this issue permanently?
Thanks in advance.

Hello MM.
Wondered if you got an answer to this issue. I have a very similiar
problem with the Zboard Merc Stealth keyboard.
The driver in the task bar turns red and does not work until I
uninstall through device manager and scan hardware for changes.
Please let me know if you were successful at solving this issue.
Thanks.
