it comes up as a REMOVABLE DISK and do's not let you do anything except
change the drive letter, so if you can help with my problem i would be
greatful paul

Press Start, type "diskmgmt.msc", and press Enter.

Please can anyone help, i brought a mass 500gb exturnal hard drive,
which
connects to my computer by usb, (i am running windows vista) it was
working
fine for a week or two then the hard drive stopped me from putting on any
files or getting any files off it, it changed from a LOCAL DISK DRIVE to a
REMOVABLE DRIVE which wont alow me to get any of my files from it or even
open the drive can anyone tell me how to change it back to a LOCAL DRIVE
