I can't get ANYWHERE on the internet, email, or nada. Any network access
other than internet is fine. The problem is a lot easier than you are trying to\
see. There probably is no solution. I just want to know if others have same
issue. After I power off and on router the internet is fine until next time.

What part of the internet are you being blocked from with wireless and what
part are you able to get through to with wireless?
And you confirm that you have no trouble getting to any location on the
internet using a wired connection to the router
Channel interference would cause a problem only when another wireless user
was trying to use the same channel so it would be an intermittent problem
from your viewpoint.

As I said its only the Internet that does not work through the wireless
router.
Channel changes do nothing to help. The router is accessible, the internet
connection to router is OK, just can't get to internet wirelessly.

Channel interference would block the wireless connection totally not just
a specific part of it.

Is the problem with both wired and wireless connections to the router?
If only with wireless have you tried changing the channel number to the
low
end or the high end since you may be getting channel interference from a
neighbor?

My WRT54G will stop allowing internet access every couple of days, more or
less. We had two of these are work which were SEVERAL years older and
they did same thing. I have Vista which I doubt is issue since the older
ones
at work had 95/98 and XP machines. Mine is Ver 8.0 with latest firmware
and ones at work were 3 years older and probably never had firmware
updates.
My access was only physical so I could power them off and back on.

All 3 stop allowing internet access regularly and had to be powered off to
reset internet. So I think others must be having same problem?
