Hi Stan Kay,
While you use one for the internet connection, the second controller
could be use to Network another computer with yours to share the
internet connection and any files on your computer you approve.
If you do not need or want it for now, then you can disable the extra
LAN controller in the BIOS. If you ever need it, you can alway enable it
again.
