What you say is typical from people who didn't have a chance to get thru a high-grade college so they're compelled to put down anyone who did.
Intelligence is properly defined as ability to make conjunctions from existing facts, NOT memorizing facts.

OK you know more about Networking, you know existing facts pre-packaged without getting into the root of Fundamental Science which drives those physical signals accross a medium.

There're only 3 learbed professionas - a doctor, a lawyer, and an engineer.
A Manager might be a learned professional in the past e.g. a doctor, but management itself is not a profession - it's a mix of art & science, so it's not a trade either, it''s special category.
Aside from these 4, all else are nothign more than TRADES OK?

I've been up all night yesterday on caffeine in the end solving another technical block towards implementing a revolutionary electro-magnetic device (can't tell details due to several PATENTS & secrecy) which is saving 19-26% of energy used to feed HID lights at stadiums, gas stations, warehouses, etc. The solitions I design cannot come from merely MEMORIZING facts or how thi sand that networking piece is to be connected or how to find some stupid website and get information from there.
The solution is NEW, the keyword ihereis NEW, nobody else has devised it before.
It takes an engineer with Theoretical Physics backrgound to make conclusions and invent new ideas to do that.
Call me narcicistic, but F*** anyone who is offended by it/
We engineers are proud people, we're nerds and I can't stand how general public can be ******* with logical reasoning. It is why engineers also make good financial & statsictical analysts, except me LOL - my finances are ruined. OK seriously it was ruined due to my aging parents, recession and high-grade expensive lifestyle upto 2007, inclduign renting a new luxury car almost every week for several months. like $1200 per rental....

Whatever you say now I don't care. An engineer cannot be replaced by a disk-jokecy who knows facts, specs, memorized solutions, can run cables and connect a bunch of boxes & computers together, or Google for information. Anyoen intelligent can do that, so I admit you;re intelligent, very intelligent.
i am just saying not being a degreed engineer means you may need like a decade to be equivalent to it, if ever.

I've worked with one old fellow who in the end almost became psychotic when he realized DECADES of his experience were no match for my new solution to a Tandem Class4 telephone switch many years ago, i still remember him makign saractsic comments "so let this smarta** do it", so I did and got aboinus for it, he was pi**ed off.

I've been modest for over 30 years, held doors open, said "THANK YOU" and for nearly a decade diminished myself saying "ohh no, don't expect quick results from me", I asked for advise. but as you get older, you finally reach a point where you realize - to he** this all.
Now I advise others.
No wmy designs beat others.
I admit I;'ve learned form others to become this new "creature".
So does EVERYONE. We all read books, study, communicate with older coworkers and LEARN.
In the end you reach a higher level and f*** anyone who doubts it.


Right now my design is going to be in a special device (no details here for patents reasons) sold natiowide and in germany, UK, France & switzerland, it saved 19-26% of energy to feed HID lights.
before that designed RF Microwave housings which ar eno wflying on Being military aircraft & Raytheon missiles, and so on.
