I work very well with VISTA Ultimate (it is possible to make it
working good: you need a good hardware, surely it needs a good
hardware, it's a nonsense to say VISTA doesn't work and it has many
problems: I do not have problems of any kind).

I do not change, I do not move from Vista, I do not want to pay 319
euro only to have a computer running faster in switch on and off,
few seconds.

I repeat: BUT ARE WE ALL CRAZY ????????????????????????

Every 2 o 3 years should I pay 300 or 400 or 500 or maybe more euro?

Maybe Mr Microsoft thinks that I live making robberies

Some of us regained sanity several years back and switched to Linux -
all that money saved on OS upgrades plus free applications.

Sure you believe you are sane. The Unabomber thought he was sane
also. You can't do any real work with Ubuntu. Ubuntu is just a TOY OS
for geeks.

First, I didn't even mention Ubuntu - it ain't the only game on the
block. Second, I've BEEN doing 'real work' with Linux for about 10
years now. Unless you assume that national defense is not 'real work'.

That's a different animal. When speaking here about Ubuntu for the most
part it is in regards to home users using Ubuntu on the desktop. What
you do is specialized and not what I'm talking about. I'm also not
speaking about servers either. Hope that clears it up a bit.

First, Ubuntu is NOT the only game in town. Second, I developed software
which was used by technicians to do data analysis - on a graphical
desktop - I'm not speaking about servers either - hope that clears it up
a bit.
