See the 6/15 thread that contains Task manager in the Subject.
Had you looked there first you would have had your solution without posting.

Sage advice. BTW, is there a better way to search for something like this, other then reading the subject line of each post? When I last checked, there were about 15,000 messages on this forum. I"m a patient man, but...

Paul

I am not the best searcher but...
I just right clicked on my NG Folder in Windows Mail (Outlook Express in XP) and did a Find for Task Manager in Subject and found 23.
Then I did a Find in Message and found 35.
Of course any number of them would have been from this thread.
I don't have all 15,000 headers/messages d/led - just those that accumulate through ordinary access.
You, of course, could probably do some sort of Google search on the entire NG.
Don't know if that helps but it's what occurs to me now.

If I independently had Task Manager (or other issues) I would pursue it/them various ways depending upon my pain threshold.
I keep a Search Gadget up on my Sidebar so I might just toss something into there to see what comes out.
I might go to Help...
If I had NG's up and the issue fell into something I "subscribe" to I might scan the headers of do the search above - maybe maybe not.
More often than not I'd probably - first thing - say what did I do (differently/recently etc...) that makes it an issue now when it wasn't before and go from there.
