It is a fact that suse "looks" better than ubuntu.

What, "out of the box?" BFD, whether you like the looks of SuSe or Ubuntu, or don't, either one is TOTALLY customizable with the many, many, themes available. Look at XP when it first came out; The "Fischer Price look" joke took hold almost immediately, and for GOOD reason. Problem is/was, one could not easily change the looks much, or at least as easily as one can with a Linux Distro. One still can't in Windows without hacks, and/or a significant performance impact, but not so with Linux. I happily change themes etc on the fly in my Linux Distro(s).

Yes, it IS important to many, to be able to change a theme! People like me get very bored with the same ol' same ol' and being able to change on the "fly" is great! No hacking, no performance impact with third party software running in the background etc. So it makes NO difference what the developers of this or that Linux Distro sets as a theme, it CAN be changed VERY easily.

You can tell suse developers have been tweaking this distro for mass acceptance.
ubuntu is crude in comparison.

I was NOT impressed with my install of SuSe a few years ago, and in fact wound up with a corrupted hard drive and lost everything with a dual boot of XP Pro and SuSe, and it being SuSe's fault. (Yeah I had backups, but not the point) Haven't checked it out since, BUT with Novell sucking Microsoft's dick, well, I will not be checking it out any time soon. I couldn't care less of their improvements etc. They crossed over to the "dark side," so they have lost creditability as far as being independent of Microsoft, something Linux users, seekers of alternative OS's, want. ...To shed the scum.

But you are so close minded, and "stupified" by ubuntu, that you don't even realize better distros exist.

Speaking for myself, I have tried many different Distros, and I choose to use what I like, and what works for me... Hmmm, just like any normal person. ..I don't put someone down for what they may like and what works for them, whether it be Windows or Linux. (Or BOTH) So in YOUR opinion SuSe is better, well good for you and be happy in your usage, but other people have their own likes and dislikes. Alias happens to like Ubuntu, and with his "Nobel Mission" promotes it. Had he liked say, PcLinuxOS, I expect he would be pushing it rather than Ubuntu. So, really, who cares? You aren't gong to change a thing bitching about whatever Distro is being advocated.

Just because someone becomes excited about finding something new and cool, something NOT Microsoft, (Or anything including non OS related things.), they suddenly become a *tard when they want to spread the word? What a bunch of narrow minded BS. All of, (you), need to take a reality check, and well, get BACK into reality. Just because someone likes something, and wants to spread the word, doesn't nessessarely make them a *tard. Actually, YOU could be considered a SuSetard then, because of your advocacy of it, and dissing other Distros. ..So, be careful of what you make fun of... *tard
