And you can get the new version of Ubuntu, Jaunty Jackalope!
Get it
FREE at http://www.ubuntu.com/

Not only is it free but it comes with access to thousands of
free
programs!

openSuse is better.

http://www.opensuse.org/en/
Define "better".

Look it up yourself,moron.
Need me to define moron too?

"Better" is an opinion. Your opinion is that OpenSuse is "better".
Define what YOU mean by "better" if you can. Can you?

Alias
Yes.
It "looks" better.
The fonts are better rendered.
Compiz works better...the cube is drawn without jagged lines, very
crisp.
The package manager in Yast is better.
It goes on and on.

But if you want to find out...download the .iso and install it.

You can dual boot with it.
Suse even has a way better boot screen.
And an easy method in Yast to edit the boot options.

Its just better.

All those are subjective opinions. Have you got one objective
fact? For
example, in Ubuntu, to edit the boot options we are talking ONE
click after you open The KGRUBEditor. In total, three clicks.

As for your opinions, it's obvious you aren't running the latest
version
of Ubuntu and the latest video card drivers that came out yesterday.

What video drivers are you on?
Suse has the 180.44 drivers.

So do I.

Then you are installing the binary drivers yourself.
The restricted drivers provided by canonical are always 1 or 2
versions behind.

These drivers appeared in the Updates yesterday.

KgrubEditor would not be part of ubuntu.

Really? It came with Ibex.

It did not come preinstalled.

Yes it did.

You found it in Synaptic.

No, I didn't.

Here is the package, numbnutts
http://packages.ubuntu.com/intrepid/admin/kgrubeditor

notice, kdebase is a dependency.

ubuntu is becoming that much of a frankenstein.

In a Debian gnome install, that package isn't in Synaptic.

Once again...an ubuntard.

I have no reason to install it, numbnuts, as I am not dual booting. It
came installed by default. Try installing Ibex for yourself to see so
you don't continue to look like a fool.

No thanks...ubuntu is a slug.
If I want Debian, I install Debian.

I am suprised ubuntu includes a kde package in a gnome enviroment by default.
What is the purpose of Kubuntu if Ubuntu is composed of KDE ?

I have tried it (Ibex), thought it sucked (compared to Debian).
With the way they mix packages, no wonder it sucks.

I can't look like a fool.
I still say Suse is way better than ubuntu.
And it is.
