Updating CPU and motherboard and CPU with a vista operating system

Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

Hi
I have an oldish coputer with an Intel cpu and a Via chip set. It has Vista and XP on a dual boot. The Vista was installed from an update version. I want to use a faster CPU but have found that this means changing the motherboard and possibly the memory as well as I only have amaximum of 800 fsb and 533 memory speed and I want 1333 fsb and 800 memory.
My question concerns the reinstallation of Vista. The licence may not cover such a radical change to the hardware.
Will I have trouble reactivating it?
Cheers
Paul
