And Aero is what? And having your desktop use resources by playing a movie is what?

Aero is pleasant...without distracting the user with 1200 different ways to distort and wobble the desktop.

I don't play movies thru the desktop, but thru WMP.
I haven't checked, but I would assume WMP uses those resources.

The "Ultimate Extra" allows the desktop to play looping movies, ie it must use the same resources as having WMP running all the time. Hardly a productivity feature but cool if you like stuff like that.

Actually it can layer windows like Flip 3D, which apparently the writer thought was useful...

I haven't found flip 3D useful...I don't use it.

Nor do I...

You can't wander on the internet in linux?
Sure you can.

I believe I said "Less likely" not "Can't".

How are you "less likely" with Linux?
Does Firefox crash that much?

Well for a start people tend to adopt a different attitude and do not go off looking for little "Enhancements" like they have on their home machines. They can't install them anyways...

I can agree that the more they add to Ubuntu (As opposed to a base system like Debian) the more likely it is to get broken, this was also true of Windows of course.
