Those who advocate open source Linux in these newsgroups should be the
ones to step forward and help people out when it messes up a Windows
system.

IT, didn't do anything to the system, IT, did EXACTLY what the USER told it
to do.

You can't blame the s/w when the under-informed user tells it what to do.

Read my post to Urban, because it applies to you as well.

The user probably did this on advice seen in THIS newsgroup, advice propagated by one of the few Linux trolls.

Alias in particular never gives the whole picture. If you people are not prepared to support the aftermath of your advice, don't give advice..

Hey, dip***, the OP could have gone to www.ubuntu.com and found the installation instructions. Telling people about Ubuntu does NOT come with the requirement to give support for free.

That's right.
Not so free anymore, is it ?
LOL.
Just kidding.

But from ubuntu.com, I didn't see dual boot instructions.
Migrating to it exclusively...but they really seem to want to help you ditch Windows.

I typed "dual boot" in the Search field and got this:

http://search.ubuntu.com/results2.html?cx=009650792990864903260%3A-lsdjshi1tu&cof=FORID%3A11&ie=UTF-8&q=dual+boot&sa=Search#982

I stand corrected.
But , I didn't search...I just clicked on the support link, then looked from there.
Kind of like a newbie maybe would.
I doubt they would do a search until it was too late.
Much like the OP.

Assuming everyone is as stupid and clueless as you are is a stupid assumption.

Anger and insults prove you "know" very little.
I have used ubuntu since Badger.
I just didn't turn into a zealot, or an ubuntard.
