Sorry, pal, but Ubuntu works right out of the box and is much easier to use, install, update and find programs than any flavor of Windows.

Every computer I have installed Ubuntu on had no issues and worked right out of the box.

It's easy for someone with some tech savvy. For newbies, Windows or Ubuntu is difficult to install.

You can't find a simple chess program (alt.os.linux.ubuntu).

He gave me the wrong name of the program. Sorry, but if you expect me to know all of the programs available in Ubuntu, you will be disappointed.

You may know how to secure a Windows install. Most people don't and click on URLs in IM and attachments in email. I see infected computers every day and most of them want Ubuntu.
