First download and burn this:

Then set your BIOS to boot from your CDROM. Insert the CD you just burned. Get out of the BIOS and follow the simple instructions when you boot to the CD.

You mean make sure the CDRom is in the list of boot devices.
If you set it to only boot from CD, gonna have a little issue after installing.

You sure you get paid to install ubuntu ?
