I managed to install PowerQuest Partition Magic8 on my machine (Vista SP1).
The following option is given to me:
Length of partition table incorrect.
CHS length: 20979295
LBA length: 20971520
FileSyst. length: 20971519
Partition Magic wants to change it to the correct value of 20979295.
My question: is it safe to answer 'Yes' and let PM do it?
Presumably this has to do with the different file formats (FAT32 and NTFS)?
Suspect the answer to be negative, but hope for the opposite.

Harry,
Partition Magic 8 is not compatible with Vista. Do yourself a favor and uninstall the software. If you're not convinced, search this newsgroup for issues reported related to using PM8 including rendering systems unusable.
Consider Acronis Disk Director if you need a partition manager.
