So, Windows Defender is built into Vista. I'm using a different 3rd
party program and don't need Windows Defender at all. I HAVE got WD
properly turned off so there appears to be no conflicts. Is there any
special brute force way to successfully remove/uninstall WD from the
system, i.e., deleting files and folders and registry keys...without
make a mess? Thank you. Anyone know if MS is working on a proper
solution for Vista users? Anyone know if Widows 7 is going to have it
uninstall-able or permanently in place like Vista?
Thank you for clarifying this one more time.
Kaspersky Internet Security 2009's GetSystemInfo reports Windows
Defender as a potential conflict--even though I don't think it really
is. One way to fix that report would be to get rid of WD. Another
way would be not running GetSystemInfo again.
You are an idiot.
1. Windows defender 64-bit is excellent.
2. Name one 64-bit virus.
