Hi,(http://www.sadevelopment.com)) that allows you to
I've written a boot manager ('www.sadevelopment.com'
boot up to 256 operating systems with logon security. It uses acustom
MBR to launch itself, but when this customer boots Vista, Vistareplaces
the MBR. I only have this with one customer. I've installed Vistamyself
as numerous other customers have with no issue.think
Way back when the Vista beta was out I saw this behavior. I have to
there is some option or setting in Vista that was enabled during thebeta
that did it and that this customer must have that option enabledsomehow.
He says it is not running beta, but he says it has SP1. Does anyoneknow
of an option or registry setting like this?
Thanks,
Alan
VistBootPro is a ripoff of the actual original program called EasyBCD
by Neosmart Technologies. 'Download EasyBCD 1.7.2 - NeoSmart
Technologies' (http://neosmart.net/dl.php?id=1)
When installing multiple OSs or simply different versions of Windows
each should already be installed since each installer will see it's own
new entries placed in the boot drive's mbr replacing others. Any 3rd
party boot loader is the last thing to be installed.
