nothing has been proven yet.. In fact the game has just started. Only now linux is good enough and only now are the circumstances
starting to be the ones that will exclude costly badly written OS's like Vista and promote cheap yet good OS's that can expand into the cloud,
like linux.

A person buys a computer which is pre-installed with Windows 7. It will run almost all commercially produced software, and any open source stuff ported to Windows.

So why would anybody buy a computer pre-installed with Linux? The software authors who make big bucks from selling commercial software are not going to start working for no return, especially the big game authors.

The only control that Linux users have on their computers is to ensure that they can't run commercially produced software..
