..Net framework 3.0 is integral to Vista. Select it from Programs and Features - "Turn Windows features on or off". I suspect that any downloaded version other than an update to 3.0 won't install.

I was using the Nero 9 trial back in December and it installed without issue in Vista HP/SP1. Could be you got a corrupt download or possibly the Nero installer or some of its files are problematic with your SP2. Try removing the SP2 and then install Nero.

I am running Vista Ultimate 32 with SP1 and the SP2 portion that is out at the moment.

I am trying to install Nero 9.2.6 trial, which I downloaded from Nero Web site, but it simply
wont install. It goes about 75%, then stops and rolls back. I cleared the Registry and started
over for a nuber of times, but it just wont work.

I had Nero 8.3.21 working, and eventually put it back. I also downloaded a clearing file
from Nero and applied it, but also not working.

If anybody can suggest some help, it will be much appreciated.
