I'm running Vista Home Premium. How do I enable the 'real' administrator?
This account isn't available in confiuration/account management.

the recommended steps would be.
1) enable the 'real' administrator account
2) login and edit the registry from that account
3) disable the administrator account

I never did do #3, I like to use that account...

Can't remove or update several programs. Everytime I try the proces stops
halfway removing or installing with the following error message:
Can't open key
HKEY_Local_Machine\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\optionalcomponents
Although I have all administrator rights I don't have any rights on that
map. This wouldn't be a problem if I was able to give Full control rights
(or
other) to Everyone or Adminisrors as suggested in several similar posts.
When
I try to do so the following message appears:
Can't save changes on permissions. Acces denied.
Please help.
