"average"Vista user-base thinks
There is no "average vista user base"...
there are 2 extremes and no grade shades in the middle at all.... .
People either love it (usually the less knowlagable and lower IQ people like it)
OR are forced to use it and absolutly hate it
I will not talk about those who avoid it like the plauge since you talk about a "vista user base"
People who know the truth about how shit vista is and avoid it are not part of the user base because they avoid it!
Also I will not tell you my opinion about it since you don’t want opinions!!!.
But if you want to know the truth, well then vista shit. And this is the truth, no "opinion" involved here.

When my Dell laptop arrived in June 2007 it was pre-loaded with Vista. Due to
the many reported problems, I immediately wiped Vista and installed WinXP
Home from my old Dell laptop.
Dell are going to send me a replacement hard drive in a couple of days. So,
is it now safe to install Vista?
If the answer is "yes", are there any recommendations about what Service
Packs I should, or should not, install?
BTW: I'm not really interested in the *individual* opinion of whichever kind
person(s) reply to my post. I'm more interested in knowing what the "average"
Vista user-base thinks. Any links to previous user polls might be useful.
