From all the reading I do here, sounds like Norton has lots of Problem in Vista
NEVER seen it recommended (its all most as if Norton is a Virus)
Avast, AVG and Nod 32 are among the most frequently recommended for vista
To SCAN for viruses I use SuperAntiSpyware and Malwarebytes
