Hi,
A minidump is created with a stop error occurs (more commonly known as the "blue screen of death"). The dumps are usually preset in size as defined in the startup and recovery settings of system properties. Examing the contents of the minidumps will often (but not always) reveal the cause of the stop error. Resolving why they are occuring will stop more from being written.

My system is gradually slows down and I have discovered the system mini
dump files are increasing in size. I have cleared all files down but
need to find out why these dump files are being written to so I can stop
this.
Any help would be appreciated.
