Hi Kim,
As it's only the one site, I'd look to the application being used to open the document. Many insert a plug-in for the browser to respond to the sites' request. The source of your problem may lie here in it being corrupt.

Using Vista Home Premium, when I try to Open a school websites docs thru the
File Download window, the tab freezes, I use Task Manager to end. Have talked
to support at school district but they just enabled active x controls and IE7
still freezes in their website. The only way I can view the docs are to Save
in a file first, then open. This is the only website I have with this problem
with. Does this suggest a setting to change? You guys&gals have helped me
before, so I turn to you again.
