Re: To take back of vista program and to reinstall

Tech Tip: Click here to run a free scan for Windows Errors and optimize PC performance

So this problem started to happend before 4 months. So finally I decied
to
reinstall the windows. But I donot know to reinstall the windows Vista .
I
dont have any back up CD. All program stored in harddisk while I am
purchasing the machine.

I feel your pain.

They say Vista is the most secured OS ever developed and UAC should prevent
one from getting malwares (though MS admitted it's not), but if that's the
case, why the company is selling the most robust AV (a.k.a. OneCare) for the
most secured OS?

I suggest you to contact the manufacturer for re-installation as each may
have a different way of doing it.

When everything is done, don't forget to follow standard safe hex practice
as if there is no such thing called Vista or UAV ever existed.

Thanks a lot for reply to my queries,

I have no more experience on vista reinstallation as well as in technical
side as well. Hence I am enquiring the help from communities.

Now a days when I am going to internet , the explore is opend with some
malicious site which will be opend along with site. So I blocked this site
thru restricted site option. But then another malicious site will be
opened
and make slow in my computer some time the machine will be restarted
automatcially. So I tried to remove this site information from registry
if
any exist there. But I cannot find out from registry. When I am going to
internet always this type of site will come in first

So this problem started to happend before 4 months. So finally I decied
to
reinstall the windows. But I donot know to reinstall the windows Vista .
I
dont have any back up CD. All program stored in harddisk while I am
purchasing the machine.

So please I need ur advice to do the better way to find out a solution .
With thanks
Pol

First, you cannot save System Restore filesets. They simply don't work
that
way. There's a long and technical discussion about why they don't (and
if
you use Google you can find it that way) but they just don't.

Second, if you intend to wipe and restore your system, if you did restore
such a backup, wouldn't you probably also be restoring whatever it was
you
did that caused the system performance issues?

Open Help and Support and search for "Transfer Files and Settings". This
is
probably more along the lines of what you need to do.
