Bull***! You're a lying POS loser.

Sorry, Frank, but you're wrong again. I spoke with the three major
computers stores here who sell custom made computers and the request from
home users and business users alike is for XP and NOT for the operating
system you think talks to you. XP is the first requested, followed by
Ubuntu and finally Vista.

Don't tell Frank, but my new employer is rolling out some 200 Linux
workstations. I am doing the servers. All Red Hat. And not a single Vista
in sight. The renegade component is on the Apple/BSD kick.

Turns out what is driving this is XP is no longer scalable enough to do the
software. Vista, it runs worse and was unacceptable. On Linux it smokes.
So the users, not IT are asking for it. Best yet, getting it. Usually a
quad core, 8GB of RAM and 2 x 20" monitors. Even this old UNIX dog is
impressed. Pretty low maintenance as they don't get root.

Just another business saying no to Vista.
