Monitor standby when computer wakes up from sleep
Hi all guys.
I want a feed back from all of you about the behaviour of your Vista
machines in the case you wake them up from sleep with a task scheduled in the
vista task scheduler. I mean, i scheduled various tasks to perform during the
night time setting them to wake the computer up from sleep. It is clear that
i don't want the screen to wake up from standby since i am sleeping and no
one need to see what's on the monitor. Instead i found in the morning that
the screen is not in standby but is in two possible conditons, it is on
showing the logon screen or it is on showing only a black screen with the
mouse poiter. Is there a way to force the monitor to stay in standby when
waking vista pc from sleep. ( In desktop pc i can easily turn off the power
of the monitor but in the notebbok i can't )
