You don't need to say exactly how you installed your system because of the
problems you have, you could have only screwed a few ways. One: Update
over an already screwed up XP.

XP was working perfectly.

Strike One.

Two: Install and not update drivers or
antivirus.

Have and always HAD the latest updates, drivers and antivirus.

Strike Two.

Three: Load old programs and infected data back on to your
screwed up system.

Four: Install using One or Two on inferior hardware,
ignoring Microsoft recommendations for the right hardware.

Nope, have the latest, best all VISTA CERTIFIED hardware.

I see time and time again, users screw up their installs and blame Microsoft
for all their problems.

Of course. Because you NEVER can bring yourself to admit Vista itself
is flawed. Odd, even Microsoft admits it which is why they are racing
to finish Windows 7. Vista is dead in the water nobody wants to
upgrade to it. The vast majority of "sales" are due to preinstalling
it in big name boxes that automatically come with Vista preinstalled.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to get Vista
working but you need to follow some basic rules, which you haven't.

List the "rules" I didn't follow. Go ahead, this ought to be good.

If you took a forensic data technologist to examine your system, I am sure they
would find how incompetent you really are. Hell, if you took your computer
to BestBuy, those Geeks who ware way smarter than YOU could see right away
how fucked up you are and that you have no clue what you're doing.

Better leave it to the professionals. My advice for you: Stay away from
computers and get into yard work.

My advice to you, pull your head out of your ass and stop licking the
boots of Microsoft. It's embarrassing to see any suck up so blind and
dumb.
