Wrong ***-munch! We have, like most all of the millions using Vista
have, a good, properly installed and functioning copy of Vista.
You don't!
How in the hell do you know what I have? You only know what I tell you
and I never told you my install doesn't work you always lying sack of
wet ***. As I've said countless times I DOCUMENT what's wrong in
Vista. You being nothing but a ass kissing, boot licking Microsoft
apologist can't stand to have the truth come out that Vista is fatally
flawed. Slow file copying is just one of many known and Microsoft
confirmed issues. Still you lie your *** encrusted ass off about it
and try to blame end users. That makes you a belly crawling little
worm that can't stand the truth and needs to lie and engage in endless
personal attacks. Well dummy, how to you like being on the receiving
end?
You don't need to say exactly how you installed your system because of the
problems you have, you could have only screwed a few ways. One: Update
over an already screwed up XP.
XP was working perfectly.
Strike One.
That was your first mistake. Updating. You should have done a clean
install. Most people know that to have a "pristine" copy without
contamination, it is best to do a clean install. Since you failed to do
that you suffer the consequences.
Strike One.
Two: Install and not update drivers or
antivirus.
Have and always HAD the latest updates, drivers and antivirus.
Strike Two.
Since you blew it on step one, it doesn't matter about step two. Your
system was already doomed from the start. Even an updated antivirus is
worthless with a screwed up system.
Three: Load old programs and infected data back on to your
screwed up system.
Nope, Strike Three. You're out Billy no nothing.
OK - Maybe your data was OK but since your system was already doomed then
this is a moot point.
Four: Install using One or Two on inferior hardware,
ignoring Microsoft recommendations for the right hardware.
Nope, have the latest, best all VISTA CERTIFIED hardware.
Any more wild guesses punk?
Got it right in step one.
I see time and time again, users screw up their installs and blame
Microsoft
for all their problems.
Of course. Because you NEVER can bring yourself to admit Vista itself
is flawed. Odd, even Microsoft admits it which is why they are racing
to finish Windows 7. Vista is dead in the water nobody wants to
upgrade to it. The vast majority of "sales" are due to preinstalling
it in big name boxes that automatically come with Vista preinstalled.
Yes there are issues with Vista. But you seem to have more problems than
most. Funny, there are millions of users who don't have problems with
Vista. On my system, I run Office, Visual Studio, SQL Server all without a
hitch. Why? Because I installed my system from scratch, following the
correct instructions. Not like you who doesn't know what to do.
It doesn't take a rocket scientist to get Vista
working but you need to follow some basic rules, which you haven't.
OK, I'll play along.
List the "rules" I didn't follow. Go ahead, this ought to be good.
Already mentioned it in step one. You fucked up big time. I am sure there
are other problems that you are embarrassed to mention so we just won't go
there.
My advice to you, pull your head out of your ass and stop licking the
boots of Microsoft. It's embarrassing to see any suck up so blind and
dumb.
My advice to you if you have good hardware:
1) Backup all your data
2) Wipe your system clean
3) Unplug computer from the outside world.
4) Get the latest copy of Vista SP1 on Disk.
5) Install a CLEAN copy of Vista. DO NOT do an upgrade.
6) Once your system has been installed, reboot. The next thing is run SP1
right away.
7) Install Avast or AVG or other Vista certified antivirus
8) Attach to network
9) Update antivirus
9A) Update any motherboard and video drivers if necessary
10) Install any software that will run with Vista (Sony Vegas, Office)
11) Restore your data.
12) Run a new scan on your data
13) You should be good to go
If you follow these instructions, you will have a good system without the
problems you have been bitching about for so long.
