You just can't accept the fact, the very real fact, that your install of Vista is fukked up...just like you are one mentally fukked up person.
Face it loser, everyone in here hates your stupid, ignorant, arrogant guts.
You are a pathetic excuse for a human being.

You stupid little ***, you never learn.

The fat, stupid, little ***-sucking fukk would be you.

Microsoft, you know, who you worship...

"Worship'? Sorry *** but i only worship God!

has changed how setup works in
Vista. It no longer matters if you do a so-called "clean" install or
an install in place. That's because a install in place now wipes out
all traces of the prior version of Windows and once done unfolds the
stored user files and reinstalls them.

hehehe...still leaves open the possibilities of old/bad drivers.
Real "professionals' never, ever do in place installs. Unlike you, we "real;" professionals always flatten the HDD for RTM installs.

That the idiot Frank is too damn stupid to know this is no surprise to
anybody. So the actual stupid, ignorant dummy is surprise...none other
than little Franky Fuckwit, king of putz, world class loser, moron and
every day potty mouth.

Hey ***-sucker, you stupid piece of useless wet ***, we've done in place installs for testing....over a year ago...hahaha...!

For those that WANT to learn and don't have their heads firmly stuck
up their ass:

Vista now uses something Microsoft calls a "image based" install. It
is radically different than what previous Windows installer used to
do. The Windows DVD contains a Windows Imaging file (.WIM), which is
basically all the operating system folders wrapped up into one image
file. Install now simply decompresses and installs this. All traces of
any prior version of Windows are erased.

hehehe...you've just now "discovered" this?...You're stupid!

So guess what Frank, you clueless moron, regardless if you pick clean
install or upgrade in place the Vista "installer" is putting a clean
install of Vista on your system. If you had a prior version of Windows
it migrates your settings into Vista. The advantage is obvious to
anyone with a functioning brain. You don't have to waste hours, maybe
days reinstalling all your software.

Sorry ***-for-brains, but you still have a bad install.

If any of the migrated settings for some "special" software you might
have had installed in XP or another version of Windows is not
compatible with Vista it will immediately become self-evident.

Naturally smart users, no, not some idiot like Frank, would have run
Microsoft's Vista Update Advisor PRIOR to doing a upgrade to Vista to
see what hardware and software if any is not compatible with Vista and
remove or uninstall it BEFORE attempting any upgrade. Naturally I done
that.

So as always Frank gets hammered into the ground and proven to be
nothing but a stupid little *** that just loves to flap his gums and
never knows what he's talking about. I LOVE exposing Frank as the
*** he obviously is. The harder Frank tries to look smart the more
obvious it becomes how dumb he actually is. ;-)

Face it ***, you have a bad install. You said you needed Ultimate but went cheap (saved $20) and got Business. You also are supposedly doing a lot of video rendering and yet you have only 2 gigs of memory.

You're a pathetically stupid and inept whining PIG!

And don';t fort mr genius, I have multiple "clean" installs Vista Ultimate & Server 2008 (x64 7 x32) configured and running properly whereas you can't get even one little install of Vista Business to run properly.
Oh, I forgot, it's all MS's fault right?

Get lost ***!

One last thing. You can't make a move without me. I own you, plain and simple!...LOL!
