The reason is video editing tasks the CPU, more memory
won't help. That is true for many tasks. This brings us back to the
so-called "professionals" that offer advice here and in other forums
and newsgroups. They almost always say get more RAM, blah, blah, blah.
Again, they don't have a clue what they're talking about. I PROVED I
was correct by real word testing.
Yeah right! Let's see, you're the incompetent big mouth PUTZ who can't
even get his one little install of Vista Business to run properly.
Do you think anyone in here believes for one second that you have
"proved' anything!...LOL!
Now, one thing most of you seem to be missing is this!!! 32 bit processors
can only address 3.8 gig of Ram on a windows system, SO, more memory is just
a waste. I have 4 Gig installed and I know the system only sees about 2.8 or
so even though it reports all of it in the Bios.
Until I can get a 64 bit processor with the 64 bit version of the OS, Vista
Ultimate, I don't expect to have great success. Vista Ultimate is hanging up
repeatedly on my system. Yet I am looking forward to upgrading the processor
very soon. As for the 64 bit version of Windows, THAT will have to wait
until I have the HUGE bucks to shell out for it.
