IE shutdown problem

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

Suddenly, IE doesn't shut down normally as it always has in the past. This occurs with the Close Window X, the File/Close pulldown, or R-Click on the Task Bar item/close. Instead of simply shutting down, I get the "This program has stopped working, Windows is checking for a solution" routine every time. Since it only happens when I'm trying to shut it down anyway, it isn't a real problem, but it's annoying and shouldn't be happening.

MSIE 7 ver.7.0.6001.18000
Vista Home Premium w/SP-1

Any suggestions?

Thanx,

Buddha
