Re: Application blocked at startup!

Hi Shawn,
Thanks for the suggestion.
When I googled this problem, I actually came across that URL you sent me, but I overlooked it. I created a Task to launch Setpoint.exe "on logon", via Trigger/Action, however it was failing to start. After spending sometime on this, I realised that even though task was running using my local account(administrator) it was failing to start, which I still don't undrestand why. I changed it to "Administrators" in General>Security options and it fixed it!
Thanks Again
Med

Hello Med,
Since you have the startup program Run as administrator it will get
blocked like that from the Startup folder. Instead, you will need to
create a task for it Task Scheduler to run at startup to avoid being
blocked. Method Two under Option One in this tutorial will help show you
how to.

Hope this helps,

I set my logitech Setpint utility (for keyboard & mice) to "Run as
Administrator" for all users in startup folder, but it is still blocked
by
windows defender after reboot, and I have to click and allow it again.
How
can I prevent Windows Defender to block this every time I restart my
PC?
System: Vista Business SP1
