Problem regarding Internet Explorer

Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

Hi.

My desktop computer recently got infected with MS antivirus 2008, and
i've being getting rid of it now for a couple of days. I downloaded
spyware doctor, and SUPERantispyware to help me rid my computer of this
infection. This eventually worked, and when I thought I was in the clear
I opened Internet Explorer to find that the display on certain pages
(e.g Wikipedia, and Google) was messed up. It seems that the alignment
is all wrong, and the lettering is large. I looked at the settings, but
they havent changed from what they were before I got the virus. Also,
when I search on Google and click on one of the search results it opens
a new window and re-directs me to another search engine (different
everytime). On top of that, some pages dont even open (such as
Hotmail).

I'm running on Vista, and have the latest version of IE. I'm running
Norton antivirus, Spyware doctor, and SUPERantispyware.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Tom.
