Do you realize that that crappy website you're using to post here screws
post up so that they don't thread right in a proper newsreader? Do you
realize that when you don't include the previous messages in your post that
we have no idea who you're talking to? If you MUST post to this group,
please try this instead:
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.windows.vista.general
And you have a very strange understanding of what a spyware scanner does.
You're probably talking about one of those "fix everything that's wrong with
Windows" utilities that are advertised all over, including on the site
you're using to post. Those utilities are PURE SCAM. ALL LIES! If you ran
one on your machine, no wonder it's broken, and yes, a clean install very
well may be the only remedy if this is what you have done..

are you telling me that i should do a clean install of vista? i in fact
DID do a spyware scan, no help. you know, that theoretically fixes
everything short of genuine hardware incompatibilities right? that is a
bit of an unreasonable "fix" if you can call it that considering that i
have a lot of options that i have set and would like to not redo(i also
forgot some of them).
