Hi folks,

Can someone please advise which group I need to post this thread to (or
even better help me out with a solution):

Firstly, I note all the guidance re the KB936181 installation issue (ie
it keeps requesting an install every freakin day).

I've followed that guidance and now have a new beast to deal with. I'm
now getting the - please install Microsoft XML Core Services 4.0 Service
Pack
2 (KB941833) every time I boot up/log on.

Yes - it's installed, several times, and yes I've turned off auto
download, but please help me out with an easy step by step guide to
resolving this issue once and for all. I followed the Microsoft fix,
did the command prompt deal, go several errors like people report i.e.
access denied etc and now the KB936181 doesn't pop up, but this new
bloody update does.

Is Microsoft going to offer a patch or update that will resolve this
mess? It's a bit unrealistic to ask non tech people to play around with
deleting files from the System directory and reinstalling stuff in a
particular order that has taken years to accumulate in order to fix
their problem.

I would really appreciate an EASY guide that puts this to bed. I
understand many of you will probably think - 'shut up and get an apple
you loser', but I'm keen to stick with Windows for the time being.

I run Vista Home Premium.

Cheers
