It should have been able to use the XP drivers with no problem.. but nooo
vista is too crap to do that

Yes, that is at the root of the problem as the leaked Microsoft emails
confirm. XP drivers supported ALL features for printers and scanners.
Vista drivers (included on the Vista DVD) BY DESIGN were crippled
meaning advanced printer/scanner features for many popular models that
used to work under XP no longer work under Vista. Yes, Ballmer's
fingerprints are all over the documents which I posted here some time
back. Instead of fixing the problem, they just went ahead and released
Vista with severely weakened drivers causing many to replace their
hardware which should not have been necessary... including yours
truly.

When did you become a authority here, Albright?

I'm well versed on EVERYTHING I write about or I wouldn't be dumb
enough like some asswipes here to write about it at all.

Next question?

When did you start thinking that you had your finger on the pulse of MS? When did MS start
developing 3rd party vendor drivers? What is it with you and Ballmer's,
Albright? Were you in any of the meetings. Did Ballmer's see you there?

I suggest your familiarize yourself with the term "discovery" which is
a legal term. In brief:

Discovery is a pre-trial process where each party requests relevant
information and documents from the other side in an attempt to
"discover" pertinent facts. Discovery may include but is not limited
to depositions, interrogatories, document production requests and
requests for inspection.

You see unlike dumb rubes like you that blindly accept whatever
Microsoft claims as gospel I rather look at EVIDENCE then decide if or
not Microsoft is in fact screwing around. Those emails were damning
and Microsoft fought hard, but lost trying to exclude them. It isn't
the first time very embarrassing stuff came out in pre-trial motions
concerning Microsoft. Gates himself got caught big time in more than
one email and video deposition. Ditto for Ballmer and other key
executives.

Obviously I see your reading comprehension is severely lacking. Are
you retarded or suffering from a lack of education? I made reference
to generic drivers included on the Vista DVD, not third party drivers.
Maybe you would like to READ what the emails contain before you run
your mouth and make a fool of yourself again.

Next loser, please step forward.
