You want to assign the "mailto:' protocol to WinMail. Control Panel, Default Programs, click "Associate a filetype or protocol..", scroll to the bottom for the protocols.

My account is set for windows mail...however, any time i try send pictures,
they end up going through microsoft outlook. I have Vista (not very happy
with it). I originally had my e-mail set up for microsoft outlook but got
tired of using a password everytime i tried to send/receive mail. So i
changed to windows mail.
